This peak is a grazing area on the left side of the Val Dossana, with the ridge extending beyond 2000 metres. It has a gentle configuration, with wide hillocks and shallow depressions. At 1718 metres above sea level, there is the Baita Forcella. The grazing area can be reached via various routes: from Alpe Vaccaro in just under an hour or from Parre following trail 240 towards Monte Trevasco in about 2 hours on foot.
